A power outage that started Sunday afternoon affecting central Champaign was repaired within two hours of the initial outage.

Within the 61801 zip code there was one report of a power outage. Within 61820, 1111 were reported and within 61821, 297 outages were reported.

Ameren spokeswoman Natalie Hemmer confirmed that the outage started at 1:32 p.m. on Sunday, with approximately 1409 outages reported.

Hemmer confirmed later that all outages had been corrected and power had been restored by 3:19 p.m.
