Champaign
- A 24-year-old male from Champaign was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed.
- A 19-year-old male from Champaign was also arrested for possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and being a minor in possession of alcohol at the intersection of University Avenue and First Street around 1 a.m. March 29.
- Theft was reported on the 500 block of South Third Street shortly before 10:30 p.m. Monday. According to the report, an unknown suspect stole the victim’s parking hangtag.
- Theft was reported at the Fat Sandwich Company on the 500 block of East John Street around 5 p.m. Monday. According to the report, a 21-year-old male suspect stole currency from the business.
- Domestic dispute and telephone threats were reported at the County Market on the 300 block of East Stoughton Street shortly after 2 p.m. Monday. According to the report, a 44-year-old male suspect made threats to the victim via text messaging and phone calls, but was not located.
- Theft was reported at the intersection of Fifth Street and Green Street around 1:30 p.m. Monday. According to the report, the victim dropped her cell phone, and a white male suspect picked it up and ran away.
Urbana
- A 21-year-old male from Champaign was issued a notice to appear for possession of an open container of alcohol on public property on the 1100 block of South Busey Street around 1 a.m. Sunday.
- A 42-year-old female from Rantoul was arrested for trespassing at the Provena Covenant Hospital on the 1400 block of West Park Street around 1:30 p.m. Monday. According to the report, after being treated and discharged from the hospital, the offender refused to leave and rejected officers orders to leave the property before arrested.
- A 20-year-old male from Urbana was arrested for trespassing into a vehicle and for illegal consumption of alcohol on the 500 block of West Springfield around 8 a.m. Saturday. According to the report, the offender had been drinking and entered an unlocked vehicle without her permission.
