Champaign
- A 20-year-old male was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol at the 700 block of South Sixth Street on April 15 just before midnight.
- Theft was reported at the 100 block of East Daniel Street on April 17 just before 4 p.m. According to the report, an unknown suspect stole the victim’s driver’s license.
- Battery was reported at the 900 block of South First Street on April 17 just before 1 a.m. According to the report, the victim was involved in a fight with an unidentified suspect.
- A 20-year-old male was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol and throwing dangerous materials and a 21-year-old male was arrested for throwing dangerous materials at the 100 block of East Gregory Street on Monday just before 12:30 a.m. According to the report, the suspects threw bottles off their balcony onto the street and into a construction site.
Urbana
- Criminal damage to property was reported at the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue on April 16 just after 6:30 p.m. According to the report, an unknown offender damaged the victim’s car at his residence.
- Theft was reported at Circle K gas station, 809 W. Green St., on April 17 just after 1:30 a.m. According to the report, an unknown offender took the victim’s wallet after he dropped it at the gas station.
University
- Theft was reported at Oglesby Hall on April 17. According to the report, three students reported items stolen from their rooms. In one incident, a cell phone, valued at $600, was reported stolen. In a second incident, a laptop and iPad, valued at $1,300, were reported stolen from an unlocked room. In a third incident, a wallet and cell phone were stolen; the victim also reported that while he was sleeping, an unknown man entered his room, attempting to steal his laptop. The man left when the victim awoke.
- A 29-year-old male was arrested for criminal damage at the Advanced Computation Buildings on April 16 at 12:30 a.m. According to the report, the suspect damaged a building sign.
- A vehicle’s passenger door was reported “kicked in” at University Parking Lot A-3, 603 E. Springfield Ave., on April 15 at 10:45 a.m.
