The fall lineup for the Assembly Hall’s concerts is coming together, with the latest announcement being a show by classic rock favorites Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top. The concert will be held Oct. 29, and tickets go on sale Aug. 26 at 10 a.m.
Other notable announcements were Lupe Fiasco, Death Cab for Cutie and Lewis Black.
Rapper and hip hop artist Lupe Fiasco will take the stage Oct. 2 with special guests The Cool Kids at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale Aug. 26 at noon and cost between $29 to $40. The student discount is $8, and the student presale is Aug. 24 at 8 a.m. at the Assembly Hall Box Office. Only cash will be accepted.
Death Cab for Cutie with special guest Telekinesis will be playing at the Assembly Hall on Oct. 1 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday Aug. 26 and cost between $26 to $35. The student discount is $3.
Comedian Lewis Black is bringing his show “In God We Rust!” to Champaign on Oct. 7 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are priced from $25 to $45, with a student discount of $5.
