– A DUI was reported on Saturday at 1000 Block of W. University Ave. According to the report, the 21-year-old male subject was involved in a traffic accident and left the scene. He was later located and stopped. The subject as well as his passenger admitted to drinking and showed indicators of impairment on field sobriety tests. The subject was arrested and the breath test revealed that his BAC was over the legal limit. The passenger was also charged with leaving the scene of an accident.
– A criminal defacement of property was reported on Thursday at the 400 Block of Indiana. According to the report, an unknown offender damaged a mailbox, property of the City of Urbana and the US Postal service.
– A criminal damage to property was reported on Saturday at the 1000 Block of S. Busey Avenue. According to the report, the offender was highly intoxicated and attempted to enter the victim’s locked residence. Prior to leaving the residence, the broke the window of the victim’s apartment. The offender never entered but was later found and arrested for criminal damage to property.
– A criminal damage to property was reported on Friday at 900 Block of W. Main Street. According to the report, the offender broke the rear passenger window of the victim’s car.

Champaign
– A retail theft was reported on Thursday at the Walmart Super Center in the 2600 Block of N. Prospect Ave. According to the report, the subjects were taken into custody for retail theft and were transported to the CCSO.
– A forgery was reported on Thursday at the Burger King in the 2100 block of Prospect Avenue. According to the report, the suspect presented counterfeit money for food order.

– A criminal trespassing on state supported property was reported on Friday at the Undergraduate Library. According to the report, police were called to the area following complaint that someone was aggressively panhandling there and the 38-year-old suspect had been previously issued a U of I letter of no trespass already.
