Tremont Street between Prospect and Willis avenues will be closed to through traffic from Thursday to next Wednesday to repair a sanitary sewer service.

Brian Keith Maze, 23, was arrested shortly before 11 p.m. on Jan. 16 for aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon.

At the Board of Trustees meeting Thursday, all items were passed, with the exception of two of the proposed student fee increases to the Urbana campus, which were withdrawn from the vote.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Celebration featured the remarks of local religious, political and athletic leaders who delivered the message “Move on the dream” to the audience filling the Hilton Conference Center, 1501 South Neil St., in Champaign.

On the 25th anniversary of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, students from Urbana High School and Urbana Middle School (UHS and UMS) gathered together for the sixth annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. "A Day of Service to Our Community" Program.
