Officers in the Champaign Police Department's Community Action Team, or CAT, arrested a 19-year-old man on Sunday at the 500 block of East Green Street for mob action and aggravated battery.

St. Mary’s Road open after oil spill exercise

The University Department of Facilities and Services participated in a mock emergency oil spill exercise this morning. According to the Facilities and Services website, the oil spill exercise involved Champaign and Urbana fire departments, county emergency staff, public safety and environmental contractors for the Annual Joint Deployment Exercise.
