Primary election absentee voting comes to a close

Absentee voting for the upcoming General Primary Election will close on March 26, said Champaign County Clerk Mark Shelden.

“We encourage anyone who will be out of town on election day to make every effort to vote absentee at the Clerk’s Office,” Shelden said.

Additional hours for absentee voting will occur at the clerk’s office on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and on Monday, March 20 until 5 p.m. The Country Clerk’s office is located at 1776 E. Washington St., in Urbana.
