Street Festival features dramatic performances

The Fifth Annual Street Theater Festival begins Saturday at noon. The all-day festival, located in downtown Urbana, will offer food, spot performances, workshops, a raffle and theatrical games, as well as storytelling and a clowning workshop for kids.

Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Prompting Theater, a local theater troupe comprised of adult actors with developmental disabilities.

The festival will run in conjunction with 40 North’s Boneyard Arts Festival, which features local artists, musicians, poets and other creative talents.
