Champaign
- A 66-year-old man reported criminal damage to his property at the 3900 block of Aberdeen Drive early Sunday morning.
According to a police report, an unknown offender threw a large quantity of garlic onto the man’s porch and in his mailbox.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 19-year-old man was arrested for battery at Blind Pig Company, 120 N. Walnut St., late Saturday night.
According to a police report, the man had to be restrained by employees and customers after becoming violent with an employee.
- A 39-year-old man reported being battered at the Mobil Super Pantry, 1503 N. Neil St., late Saturday night.
According to a police report, the man was battered in the parking lot by numerous unknown men.

- A 21-year-old man was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of cannabis at the 3000 block of Edward Hoffman Drive late Saturday night.
According to a police report, the man discharged a firearm several times before fleeing the scene and was later apprehended and found to be in possession of cannabis.
- A 24-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were robbed at the 200 block of West Columbia Avenue early Sunday morning.
According to a police report, the victims were robbed at gunpoint by three unknown offenders.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 30-year-old man reported criminal damage to his property at the zero block of Raintree Drive early Sunday night.
According to a police report, an unknown offender slashed one of the man’s tires and cut his residential phone line.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
Urbana
- A 20-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct at the 1300 block of North Lincoln Avenue early Sunday morning.
According to a police report, two offenders entered the apartment of a 19-year-old woman and sprayed ketchup and syrup all over the woman’s bathroom and carpet. The second offender was not located.
- Margaritas Mexican Restaurant, 1717 S. Philo Rd., reported that the restaurant had been burglarized and set on fire late Sunday night.
According to a police report, the fire department responded to a small fire in the kitchen of the restaurant. When a manager arrived, he stated that the safe was opened and cash had been stolen.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 30-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man reported criminal damage to their property at the 600 block of East Sunnycrest Drive early Monday morning.
According to a police report, victims were in their home when they heard a crash, looked out the window and saw that an unknown vehicle had driven up the parkway, running over their trash can and their neighbor’s trash can.
- A 27-year-old man was arrested for noise prohibition at the 200 block of South Grove Street late Sunday night.
According to a police report, officers were called to a noise complaint where they found a group of people in a parking lot talking loudly and laughing.
- A 20-year-old woman reported being battered at the 1800 block of Cunningham Avenue early Monday morning.
According to a police report, an unknown offender hit the woman with a crowbar, but the woman was very uncooperative with police and very little information was provided.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 19-year-old man reported being robbed at gunpoint at the 1800 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue early Monday afternoon.
According to a police report, the victim recognized the offender as a neighbor and acquaintance. The offender was later located at the hospital while being treated for a gunshot wound unrelated to this incident.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
University
- A 21-year-old man was arrested for obstructing justice and battery after police were called to fight involving 10 people at the corner of First and Armory streets early Saturday morning.
According to a police report, a pizza delivery driver was battered in the incident and the offender was arrested in a parking garage after fleeing from police two times prior.
- A 22-year-old man was arrested for battery at the intersection of Second and John streets late Friday night.
