ON-AIR: Flu shots back at McKinley
December 5, 2006
The recent unavailability of flu shots for U of I students is over for the time being. Flu vaccines are once again available at McKinley Health Center and are free of charge for all students. McKinley Nurse Michele MacLeod is confident that the problems which led to the initial shortage will not be repeated.
“We do not anticipate any problems getting more at this point. The distribution problem is over and different groups will be able to get more as they want to order it.”
MacLeod reccomends that all students consider getting vaccinated, but especially those that live in densely populated locations like dorms and fraternity houses.
