Rate freeze leaves Illinois with chill

The battle over the electric rate freeze has still not been settled. The Illinois House voted in favor of a three year rate freeze, however, the Illinois Senate voted against the freeze. With the transition from the 94th to the new 95th General Assembly, a new bill must be proposed in order for there to be another vote on a rate freeze. As it stands now, customers stand to pay more this month. Christine Kim has an update on the bill.
