All Champaign County highways are closed until further notice according to a release from the Champaign County Emergency Management Agency.

Most roads have become impassable due to continuing snowfall and increasing winds, the release said.

Champaign County discontinued plowing on all county highways as of noon today because of unsafe conditions and intense blowing winds.

Plowing will resume when the storm ends.
