On the agenda for the City of Champaign’s Liquor Advisory Commission meeting is a discussion about Unofficial St. Patrick’s Day, a “holiday” at the University. During last year’s celebration, more than 100 alcohol-related citations were given and a University alumna was killed in a motorcycle accident.

The meeting comes the day after the Illinois Student Senate’s Student Disciplinary Committee voted that any student caught disrupting class on Unofficial could face dismissal from the University.

The Liquor Advisory Commission will meet Thursday, Feb. 15 at 8:30 a.m. at the Champaign City Building, 102 N. Neil St.
