Plane from Chicago searched at LaGuardia after bomb threat

NEW YORK – An empty plane has been isolated at a section of LaGuardia Airport following a report of a bomb threat.

The Port Authority, which runs the airport, says American Airlines Flight 382 from Chicago landed safely and 117 passengers and five crew members were taken off the plane before the search began.

Bomb-sniffing dogs were sweeping luggage and the plane.

No injuries have been report.
