CHICAGO – A blanket of snow and rising temperatures have much of Illinois looking like foggy London, and that’s created all sorts of problems for travelers across the state.

Because of low visibility, about 200 flights have been canceled at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. Delays are averaging 60 to 90 minutes in and out of the O’Hare and 30 minutes at Midway Airport.

In the southwestern Illinois community of Worden, fog may have contributed to a crash involving a freight train and a truck shortly after 8 a.m.

The Illinois State Police say the truck’s driver was taken to a nearby hospital after the fiery crash. His condition wasn’t immediately available.
