Phenomenon shakes Midwest

WEST SALEM, Ill. – Fourteen aftershocks have been reported in Illinois in the days after a 5.2 magnitude quake rattled residents from Milwaukee to Atlanta.
The temblor at 4:37 a.m. Friday was centered near the southern Illinois community of West Salem and caused skyscrapers in Chicago to shake.
No injuries or significant damage have been reported.
The U.S. Geological Survey says 12 aftershocks were reported Friday and Saturday.
