Champaign
- A 21-year-old man was arrested at the intersection of First Street and University Avenue on May 30.
According to a police report, the man was stopped for violating the state’s vehicle code by driving with a suspended or revoked drivers license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
- A 31-year-old woman was arrested at the intersection of Mattis Avenue and Williamsburg on May 30.
According to a police report, she was driving with a suspended or revoked drivers license.
- A 56-year-old man was arrested on an in-state warrant at the 00 block of east University Avenue Monday afternoon.
According to a police report, the man had failed to report on charges of misusing a credit card.
- A 21-year-old man reported his laptop had been stolen from an apartment at the 100 block of east John Street early Tuesday morning.
According to a police report, the suspect entered the apartment through an unsecured front door.

- A 17-year-old boy is suspected of stealing a co-worker’s mp3 player at Pavilion School in the 800 block of west Church Street.
According to a police report, no charges have been filed.
- A 20-year-old man was arrested for theft at Mobil Super Pantry in the 1600 block of west Springfield Avenue Tusday evening.
According to a police report, the man had taken food items from the business without authorization during a three-month period.
- A 51-year-old man was arrested at the Champaign Police Department for disorderly conduct early Tuesday morning.
According to a police report, the subject was previously issued a city notice to appear and repeatedly called the department to speak to a lieutenant.
He was arrested after causing problems in the department’s lobby.
- A 49-year-old was arrested for theft at the 1500 block of Kiler Tuesday morning.
According to a police report, the suspect was stealing electricity from the laundry room.
- Ducky’s Formal Wear in the 100 block of east University Avenue reported theft Tuesday morning.
According to a police report, an 18-year-old man rented a tuxedo on April 26 and has failed to return it.

- A 61-year-old woman reported two bottles of prescription medication were stolen from her apartment in the 300 block of Griggs Monday evening.
According to a police report, Dilantin and Vicodin pills were taken by an unknown offender.

- An unknown man is suspected of unlawful use of a weapon at the 1600 block of north Lincoln Avenue Monday night.
According to a police report, security at an apartment complex saw the offender in possession of a firearm. The man fled the scene and was not located. The firearm was recovered by police.

- A 40-year-old woman was charged with animal cruelty at the 400 block of Grove Tuesday afternoon.
According to a police report, the offender left her dog tethered outside during heavy rains without shelter. The dog was impounded for its well being.
- A 55-year-old woman reported her son’s Nintendo DS system had been stolen Tuesday.
According to a police report, the system was taken from the boy while he was on a bus for a school field trip.

University
- A 19-year-old man was arrested for possession of cannabis at the 100 block of south First Street Tuesday night.
According to a police report, officers conducted a traffic stop and found a plastic bag containing 1.6 grams of suspected cannabis.
- A 47-year-old man was arrested on a county warrant at the Division of Public Safety Building, 1110 W. Springfield Ave., Tuesday afternoon.
According to a police report, the man had failed to appear in court on a previous charge.
