Odds ‘N’ Ends: Wis. board on HS sports fans: No shirt, no problem

GREEN LAKE, Wis. – The organization that governs high school sports in Wisconsin won’t force fans to keep their shirts on.
The Board of Control of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association rejected a committee’s recommendation that bare-chested fans be banned.
Committee members had argued that being shirtless had nothing to do with sporting events. They also said body paint sometimes caused damage when it dripped onto cloth seats.
Half-ton of premium coffee beans stolen in Hawaii
KAILUA-KONA, Hawaii – Police in Hawaii say a thief got his caffeine fix when he made off with more than 1,000 pounds of Kona coffee beans.
Police say the beans were taken from a home sometime between May 27 and May 29. The beans were in 100-pound burlap bags.
Police are asking the public to report anyone trying to sell green coffee beans.
