Springfield Ave. will be closed between First St. and Fourth St. beginning on Oct. 1.

The street will be closed so the city of Champaign can install a new storm sewer covert for Boneyard Creek, said Harman Jordan, Right of Way Inspector for the Engineering Department in the city of Champaign.

The street will remained closed until Oct. 29.
