A number of road closures and construction projects are currently affecting campus.

Springfield Ave. will be closed between First and Fourth Streets in Champaign until approximately the end of October. The closure is due to construction of a culvert for the Boneyard Creek, said the City of Champaign’s Web site.

Also, Springfield Ave. will be reduced to one lane between Neil St. and First St. in Champaign from Tuesday, Oct. 7 to Friday, Oct. 10. for viaduct cleaning. Flaggers will direct traffic on this stretch.

The westbound lane of Green St. near the intersection with First St. will also be closed until Friday, Oct. 3. for alley repairs.
