A ball on a soccer court of the Arc hit a sprinkler head Monday night, causing the sprinkler to go off, said Erik Riha, director of marketing for Campus Recreation.

The facility had to be evacuated for 20 to 30 minutes.

“Our staff works well and we were able to get people out in a timely fashion,” Riha said.

The affected soccer court and part of a basketball court were shut down for part of the Tuesday, but are now open.
