Wal-Mart bomb threat is prank, police say

The bomb threat at a Champaign Wal-Mart this Tuesday turned out to be a prank, said a press release.

The store was evacuated and the Champaign Police Department was called.

The surrounding area was barricaded until the area was declared bomb-free.

The Champaign Police Department will continue to investigate this and is asking anyone with information to call (217) 373-TIPS.
