RSO to rally Wednesday: Save Mumford House

University students and community members plan to lock arms around Mumford House on the South Quad this Wednesday to protest a plan to move the historic building to a new location, according a press release from the Society of Architectural Historians.
Mumford House, constructed in 1870, is the oldest building on campus. It was constructed as part of an experimental farms project as a model farm house. According to the press release, University Facilities and Services is seeks to relocate Mumford House to an off-campus location on Windsor Road.
The rally to preserve the building in its current location is planned for 12:15 p.m.
