The Illinois Liquor Control Commission cited 33 establishments in the Campustown area during its Unofficial crackdown, according to a press release.

Working with the Illinois State Police, Champaign County Sheriff’s Office, campus police and the police departments of both cities, agents were able to check 171 locations during the 2-day celebration. The establishments caught selling liquor to minors received fines or suspension of liquor licenses and face the possibility of revocation.

Among the locations cited on campus were Geo’s, Joe’s Brewery and Noodles & Company.
