Anita Feller, former lecturer in the Department of Accountancy with the College of Business passed away due to an illness Sunday.
Larry DeBrock, Josef and Margot Lakonishok Endowed Dean of the College of Business released a statement on behalf of the college expressing condolences to the family.
“Our College is deeply saddened by the passing of Anita Feller, a former lecturer in the Department of Accountancy. The College benefited from Anita’s accountancy expertise and teaching excellence, particularly in the area of CPA exam review for over 20 years. Our condolences are with Anita’s family and friends,” DeBrock said.
Tracy McCabe, Assistant Dean for External and Alumni Affairs at the College of Business said the college does not yet know where or when services will be held.
He said that the Department of Accountancy is currently working on the coverage of her classes.

“This would not mean the cancellation of any classes,” McCabe said. “So we would have other faculty who would teach in her place.”
McCabe added that the family reported Feller died of pancreatic cancer.
