Worker suffers heart attack at Huff Hall, dies

A 53-year-old male was pronounced dead after suffering a heart-attack while working at Huff Hall at around 1:00 p.m. Tuesday.

The man was a part of a contract work crew, according to a police report from the University Police Department. Workers found the man dead and administered CPR until paramedics.

He was taken to the emergency room at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana where he was pronounced dead of apparent natural causes.

The man’s identity is not being released at this time, according to UIPD.
