3 students arrested on drug charges

University police found more than $13,000 in cash and various drugs after executing a search warrant at apartments at 202 E. Green St. and 55 E. Healey St. Wednesday.

Police arrested students: Elliot T. Lam, 20; Kaudee M. H. Racelis, 21; and Alexander K. Rymarz, 21, at the apartments around 11 p.m., according to a press release.

The police seized 52 doses of LSD, 234 grams of cannabis, 355 doses of MDMA, psilocybin mushrooms and Adderall. The arrests came after months of investigation by UIPD, according to the press release.

The three were arrested with the intent to deliver and possession of the drugs and are being held at the Champaign County Jail and were arraigned Thursday.
