Cravings Chinese restaurant, 603 S. Wright St., reopened this weekend. The restaurant was shut down by the Champaign-Urbana public health district following a failed health inspection on March 24.

According to Jim Roberts, the director of environmental health for the Champaign-Urbana public health district, Cravings was inspected again Friday morning and got permission to reopen.

“We did a re-inspection to confirm at least the physical part of the facility,” Roberts said. “There were some violations still found, there were 8-10 violations. None of them were critical violations and none were associated with risk factors of public health-intervention type of violations.”

Cravings restaurant was not available for comment.
