Champaign

  • An 18-year-old male was arrested for retail theft at Macy’s, 2000 N. Neil St., around 4:30 p.m. Monday. According to the report, the offender stole one item of jewelry and two articles of clothing.
  • Theft was reported in the 00 block of East Green Street around 11 a.m. Tuesday. According to the report, the victim’s bike was stolen from a bike rack.

University

  • Nothing to report.

Urbana

  • Theft was reported on the 300 block of North Mathews Avenue around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report the victim’s bicycle was stolen from a bicycle rack near his workplace.
  • Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported on the 300 block of Locust Street around 6 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, an unknown offender took a backpack containing a computer and identification items from an unlocked vehicle.
