Champaign

  • Criminal damage to property was reported Thursday at around 10:45 a.m. in the 900 block of South First Street. According to the report, an unknown offender damaged the victim’s vehicle.
  • Criminal damage to property was reported Friday at around 11:45 a.m. in the 800 block of South Prairie Street.
  • According to the report, an unknown suspect spraypainted graffiti on a sidewalk.

    University

  • Burglary was reported at the Japan House, 2000 South Lincoln Avenue, at around 1 a.m. Monday.
  • According to the report, a patrol officer responding to a burglar alarm discovered that an unknown offender had broken a glass door to gain entry. The offender stole two donation boxes containing an unknown amount of cash.

  • Theft was reported at the Illini Union, 1401 West Green Street at around 6 p.m. Sunday.
  • According to the report, the victim reported that an unknown offender had stolen his bicycle, which was locked to a rack near the Union. The bike has an estimated value of $50.

    Urbana

  • Residential burglary and criminal damage to property were reported Sunday at around 11:45 a.m. in the 800 block of East McHenry Street.
  • According to the report, the victim was able to scare off an unknown offender who was trying to enter her residence.

    The offender was not located but damaged one window in his attempt.

  • Burglary was reported Sunday at around 12:15 p.m. in the 100 block of South High Cross Road. According to the report, the arrestee entered the victim’s business with an empty purse and attempted to steal several items.
