One northbound lane of Randolph Street will be shut down from Tuesday, July 5 through Thursday, July 7. The closure will cause traffic to be reduced to one lane between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. as electrical work is continued for Ameren Illinois on the street.

The work will be done to prevent power lines from colliding and interfering with tree limbs and the closure is one of several recent as Ameren modernizes their electric grid across Champaign County.
