University of Illinois Chief of Police Jeff Christensen sent out a campus safety notice Saturday morning which stated that a University student was sexually assaulted early Friday morning.

According to the notice, the Champaign Police Department informed UIPD that a student reported she was sexually assaulted at a fraternity house in Champaign.

Christensen also informed students that they can visit wecare.illinois.edu for more information on reporting sexual violence and how to support survivors.
