Champaign

  • A 19-year-old male was arrested on the charge of damaging property and being a minor in possession of alcohol at Ward & Associated Realtors, 8 E. Main St., reported around 10:30 p.m. on Friday. The offender was removed from a bar and also broke a window.
  • An 18-year-old male was arrested on the charge of retail theft at Macy’s, 2000 N. Neil St., reported around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. According to the report, the offender stole five pieces of clothing.
  • A 33-year-old female was arrested on the charge of retail theft at Walmart, 2610 N. Prospect Ave., reported around 2 p.m. on Saturday. According to the report, the offender stole one food item.

University

Urbana

  • An occurrence of credit card fraud was reported in the 1900 block of Lincoln Avenue around 12 p.m. on Thursday. According to the report, the offender used the victim’s credit card in another state while the victim was still in possession of the card.
  • A domestic dispute was reported in the 1000 block of East Water Street around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. According to the report, the victim and offender are a married couple who engaged in an argument. The offender then left the premises, leaving his toddlers home alone. The Division of Children and Family Services was notified.
  • An in-state warrant was applied on the 600 block of West Park Street around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. According to the report, the arrestee was taken into custody at Carle Hospital and then transported to Champaign County Sherrif’s Office for active champaign county warrant.
