Champaign
A 70-year-old male was arrested on the charges of trespassing and criminal damage to property in the 00 block of East Main Street around 4:30 p.m. Monday. According to the report, the victim was alerted by his vehicle alarm going off. He checked his car and saw the offender shaking door handles of several vehicles and trying to open them. The offender then picked up a steel table and slammed it on the ground breaking it.
A burglary was reported in the 200 block of East White Street around 3:30 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, an unknown offender burglarized the victim’s vehicle of multiple items, including a backpack and computer.
University
A 21-year-old male was issued a notice to appear in court for criminal trespass to state-supported property at Carr Hall, 1001 W. Pennsylvania Ave., around 9:30 p.m. Monday. According to the report, police were initially called by a resident advisor who smelled cannabis coming from a student’s room. The offender, who was in the room, had previously been issued a no-trespass notice for University property.
Urbana
A 57-year-old male was arrested on the charge of aggravated battery at Carle Foundation Hospital, 611 W. Park St., around 3 p.m. Monday. According to the report, the offender entered the business while he was intoxicated and made physical contact with the victim in a provoking nature. The offender was taken into custody and transported to the Champaign County Jail.

A 40-year-old female was arrested on the charge of theft at Burger King, 1106 W. University Ave., around 4 p.m. Monday. According to the report, the offender was the only employee who had direct access to the bank deposits at the business. The offender removed money from bank deposits and put them in her pocket, totaling $500.
