This Saturday’s Urbana’s Market at the Square is offering a new chance for people to give back to the community. Aside from purchasing locally-sourced food, people can donate blood that goes toward Carle Foundation Hospital and Presence Covenant Medical Center.

The Community Blood Service of Illinois is bringing the Bloodmobile to the market from 8:30 to 11 a.m.

Donors will receive a voucher for a $10 gift card to places such as Amazon, Starbucks, Target, Panera and more. Donors also will be entered in a drawing to win a vacation package to a location of the winner’s choice.

Registration is encouraged online or by calling the center at 217-367-2202, but walk-ins are welcome.
