Champaign

Home invasion, aggravated battery, aggravated robbery and residential burglary were reported on the 00 block of E. Armory Avenue around 2 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, two suspects entered the victim’s apartment and robbed him at gunpoint. There are no suspects at this time.

Criminal sexual assault was reported near the intersection of Bradley Avenue and Duncan Road around 2:30 p.m. Saturday. According to the report, the female victim met a group of males while intoxicated, and does not remember a time frame during the night. She suspected she was the victim of a sexual assault when she woke up.

Domestic battery was reported on the 1300 block of Garden Hills Drive around 8 a.m. Sunday. According to the report, alleged domestic violence occurred between a father, his son and his daughter. No arrests have been made.

University

Two arrests for aggravated battery were made near the intersection of Gregory Drive and Goodwin Avenue around 1 a.m. Sunday. According to the report, the 18-year-old and 21-year-old male arrestees were located based on witness descriptions following an altercation on a bus. A University student was hit and injured. A notice to appear in court was issued to another 21-year-old male for possession of cannabis.

Theft was reported on the 2300 block of S. First St. between 1:35 p.m. and 8:20 p.m Thursday. According to the report, a University student’s package was stolen from the doorstep of her apartment.

Two people were reported having been seen attempting to cut locks at Wassaja Hall, 1202 S. First St., around 10 p.m. Friday. According to the report, the two unknown offenders ran away after having been confronted by a witness, and two locks with estimated values of $20 each were damaged.

Urbana

Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported on the 1500 block of N. Broadway Ave. around 6:30 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, an unknown offender broke into the victim’s vehicle with a rock, entered the victim’s vehicle without permission and rummaged through the vehicle’s interior. No items were reported missing.

An arrest was made at Walmart, 100 S. High Cross Road, around 1:30 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, the arrestee concealed several items in a diaper bag while shopping and walked past the last point of sale with the intent to steal the items.
