Champaign

Theft was reported on the 3000 block of West William Street around 4 a.m. Friday. According to the report, unknown offenders stole Halloween decorations from the victim’s front yard.

Theft and attempted fraud were reported on the 300 block of South Fourth Street around 9:30 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, the victim lost her wallet after grocery shopping. A credit card in the wallet was used to attempt an online purchase. There is currently no suspect information.

Aggravated battery was reported on the 700 block of Town Center Boulevard around 5 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, an altercation between an employee and customer occurred over a suspected theft. The employee was battered during the altercation.

University

An arrest was made for an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court near the intersection of Green and Wright streets around 12:30 a.m. Friday. According to the report, a police officer recognized the 24-year-old male and was aware of the warrant.

Theft from a motor vehicle was reported at parking lot B-8, 1011 W. University Ave., between 10:30 a.m. and 4:50 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, cash was stolen from the vehicle. It is unknown whether the vehicle was locked.

Urbana

An arrest was made on a charge of disorderly conduct on the 1600 block of Melrose Valley Court around 1 p.m. Saturday. According to the report, the 43-year-old male threatened to physically harm his stepdaughter and her property after arriving at her apartment. He was transported to the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office.

Theft was reported on the 500 block of East Main Street around 9:30 a.m. Saturday. According to the report, an unknown offender stole the victim’s flatbed trailer that was parked in a business’s lot.

Theft was reported at The Canopy Club, 708 S. Goodwin Ave., around 3:30 p.m. Friday. According to the report, an unknown offender stole electronic equipment from the bar without permission or authority.
