Champaign
Theft was reported on the 700 block of La Sell Drive around 11 a.m. Thursday. According to the report, suspects came to the victim’s residence and attempted to sell her yard services. After the suspects left, the victim noticed two rings were missing.
Identity theft was reported on the 200 block of Briar Lane around 6:30 p.m. Dec. 20. According to the report, an unknown subject used the victim’s personal information to open a DirecTV account.
Forgery was reported at County Market, 331 E. Stoughton St., around 5 p.m. Dec. 24. According to the report, the suspect tendered a counterfeit bill to pay for merchandise. Once addressed, he paid with other money and left.
University
Disorderly conduct was reported around 3 p.m. Dec. 7. According to the report, the arrestee had filed a false police report stating she had been sexually assaulted Nov. 24 in the 1800 block of Orchard Place in Urbana. She later told police the sexual contact was consensual.
Theft was reported at Campus Recreation Center East, 1102 W. Gregory Drive in Urbana, around 6 p.m. Dec. 26. According to the report, a credit card, which was left unattended in a coat pocket, was stolen.

Theft was reported at parking garage F-29, 1001 Dorner Drive in Urbana, around 1 p.m. Dec. 23. According to the report, the unknown offender stole about 10 suicide prevention signs from stairwells in the parking lot.
An arrest for unlawful use of a weapon was made near Fourth and Healey streets in Champaign around 9:30 p.m. Dec. 22. According to the report, the offender was initially pulled over for failing to use a turn signal. After police smelled a strong cannabis odor, the vehicle was searched and a loaded handgun was found in the center console.
Urbana
Driving under the influence of alcohol was reported on the 1200 block of East University Avenue around 3:30 a.m. Monday. According to the report, officers responded to a single vehicle crash with injuries. Officers found evidence of alcohol consumption in the vehicle. Both passengers suffered incapacitating injuries.
An arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol was reported at McDonald’s, 601 N. Cunningham Ave., around 4:30 a.m. Monday. According to the report, the arrestee was found asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle while in the drive-thru lane of McDonald’s. The offender also provided a false name in an attempt to evade officers.
An arrest for domestic battery and the possession of a controlled substance was reported on the 400 block of North Vine Street around 3 a.m. Monday. According to the report, the male, who is in a dating relationship with the female, punched the victim in the face. During the arrest, officers found drugs packed for sale on the male. He was transported to CCSO jail.
