Criminal damage to property was reported on the 400 block of East University Avenue around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, the victim reported parking her vehicle at the listed location and discovered the windshield was broken by an unknown offender upon return.

Retail theft was reported on the 500 block of Town Center Boulevard around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, the offenders stole several pairs of sunglasses.

Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported around 5 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, the victim reported his vehicle was burglarized and an iPad was stolen.

Urbana

Identity theft was reported on the 2500 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue around 1:30 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, the unknown offender filed a tax return using the victim’s identification information.

Criminal damage to property was reported on the 1200 block of Florida Avenue around 10:30 a.m. Friday. According to the report, the unknown offender gained entry through an unsecured window of a vacant residence and damaged several walls.

An arrest was made at Schnucks, 200 N. Vine St., on charges of theft and trespassing around 6 a.m. Saturday. According to the report, the 37-year-old male received cab services but refused to pay for his cab fare. The arrestee had a prior theft conviction.
