Battery was reported on the 400 block of Louisiana Avenue around noon Sunday. According to the report, the victim was battered by her child’s father during an arranged visitation.
Residential burglary was reported on the 600 block of South Randolph Street around 2:30 a.m. Sunday. According to the report, the victim’s apartment was boarded up due to a fire, but the boards were removed, and items were stolen from inside, including a television and electronic game accessories.
An arrest on the charges of domestic battery was made on the 600 block of East Daniel Street around midnight Sunday. According to the report, the 20-year-old female arrestee battered the victim, leaving him with a bloody nose.
Forgery and theft under $500 were reported on the 600 block of East Green Street around 10 a.m. Saturday. According to the report, the offender stole two checks from the business and later cashed them.
Armed robbery was reported at Steak ‘n Shake, 2010 N. Prospect Ave., around 1 p.m. Saturday.

An arrest was made on charges of theft near Second Street and Springfield Avenue at 9 a.m. Saturday. According to the report, the 34-year-old arrestee was identified as the person who stole a $150 bicycle from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Building, 306 N. Wright St. in Urbana, minutes earlier.
An arrest was made on charges of resisting a police officer near Sixth and John Streets around 1:45 a.m. Saturday. According to the report, an officer was initially flagged down by a bar employee, who asked officers to look at the fake identification presented by the 19-year-old arrestee. The arrestee ran when police asked him to speak on the incident.
Urbana
Retail theft was reported on the 2100 block of East University Avenue around 7 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, an unknown offender pumped gas and left without paying for it.
Domestic dispute was reported on the 800 block of Kerr Avenue around 1 a.m. Sunday. According to the report, the male and female are currently in a dating relationship and have a child together. The two engaged in a verbal argument.
Leaving the scene of property damage was reported on the 1600 block of Lincoln Avenue around 1 a.m. Monday. According to the report, a vehicle driven by an unknown offender struck the fence of a local private property.
Residential burglary was reported on the 1500 block of East Florida Avenue around 6 p.m. Saturday. According to the report, an unknown offender entered the victim’s locked apartment and removed items, including currency and documents or receipts.
