Criminal damage to property was reported on the 1700 block of West University Avenue around 10 a.m. Jan. 17. According to the report, the victim’s car received an unsolicited coat of spray paint. There are no suspects at this time.
Deceptive practices were reported on the 500 block of East Sunnycrest Court around 12:30 p.m. Jan. 23. According to the report, the deceased victim’s children reported that their mother was a victim of an internet scam.
A suspicious letter was reported at the Office of Student Financial Aid, 620 E. John St., around noon Feb. 20. According to the report, a University employee received a suspicious letter with glitter inside with no other information or communication.
An arrest on charges of domestic battery was reported on the 2000 block of Vawter Street around 5 p.m. Feb. 5. According to the report, the 44-year-old male arrestee threw a glass of iced tea onto the victim. The two are roommates.
Residential burglary was reported on the 900 block of Pomona Drive around 12:30 a.m. March 14. According to the report, a pizza pan containing chicken strips was taken from the victim’s home while they were gone.
