Champaign

Theft was reported on the 100 block of North Walnut Street around 2:30 p.m. Monday. According to the report, the seat was taken off of the victim’s bike.

Criminal damage to property was reported on the 100 block of Kenwood Road around 4 p.m. Monday. According to the report, the victim had two vehicles damaged in her apartment parking lot. No evidence has been found at this time.

Deceptive practices were reported on the 300 block of Springfield Avenue around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. According to the report, the victim was called by an unknown offender who advised she was being investigated for a financial crime with several other people. The offender wanted her to send money so the victim would not be arrested. The victim wired money to a Wells Fargo in New York.

Theft was reported at the Office of Registered Organizations at the Illini Union, 1401 W. Green St., Tuesday. According to the report, a student reported someone had stolen cash belonging to an RSO.

Battery was reported near University and Goodwin avenues around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. According to the report, two men were punched from behind after being approached by a group of three to five men. The offenders continued to punch one of the victims while he was on the ground. The incident may have been related to a verbal altercation on a private bus.

Urbana

Robbery was reported on the 100 block of South Gregory Street at around 3:30 p.m. Monday. According to the report, an unknown offender, with a firearm pointed at the victim, stole several items from the victim.

Battery was reported on the 1400 block of West Green Street around 4:30 p.m. Monday. According to the report, the offender, who is the coworker of the victim, threw liquid on the victim and sprayed him with mace at a public bus stop.

Harassment was reported on the 600 block of Sunny Lane around 6 p.m. Monday. According to the report, two offenders continuously sent unwanted messages to the victim.
