Burglary from a motor vehicle, forgery and attempted credit card fraud were reported on the 1300 block of Westfield Drive around 7:30 a.m. Monday. According to the report, unknown offenders entered and unlocked the vehicle and stole a purse. The credit cards from the purse were then used at various locations.
Attempted extortion was reported on the 500 block of East Beardsley Avenue around 3 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, the victim reported being extorted for money by an unknown offender in order to prevent the release of photos or videos.
Disorderly conduct was reported on the 00 block of East Green Street around 1 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, the victim said someone she went to high school with threatened, through social media, to kill the victim.

Urbana
An arrest was made on the charge of battery on the 1600 block of Willow Road around 3 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, the suspect and the victim are neighbors in the same apartment complex. The victim reported the suspect punched him in the face during an argument.

Harassment by telephone was reported on the 1100 block of North Gregory Street around 11 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, an unknown offender called the victim and threatened to batter her at her home because of conversations she was having with other people.
A sick or injured animal was reported on the 1600 block of Curtis Drive around 4 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, a domestic cat with a slightly injured back foot was found in a yard. The cat was taken to Champaign County Animal Control.
