All University classes will be canceled Tuesday after 6 p.m. through Wednesday due to dangerous weather conditions.

Chancellor Robert Jones made the announcement through a Massmail to students and faculty Tuesday morning.

Temperatures are expected to be minus 5 degrees without wind chill and less than minus 20 degrees with wind chill.

The University has not canceled classes in over a decade.

The Activities and Recreation Center will have normal operating hours today, but will only be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. tomorrow. The Campus Recreation Center East, the Ice Arena and the Campus Bike Center will all be closed. The Engineering Career Fair will not be affected.
