Theft was reported at Kay Jewelers, 2000 N. Neil St., around 10:30 a.m. Thursday. According to the report, a diamond ring was reported missing from the jewelry store.
Theft was reported at Kentucky Fried Chicken, 2201 W. Springfield Ave., around 3 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, KFC reported internal theft from an employee of under $500 in cash.
Deceptive practices was reported at Circle K, 2315 W. Springfield Ave., around 11 a.m. Friday. According to the report, multiple duplicated and fraudulent charges were made on the victim’s bank account. No suspect information is provided.
University
Theft was reported on at Scott Hall, 202 E. Peabody Drive, between 7:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. Friday. According to the report, the victim’s clothes were left unattended to air dry in a laundry room at Scott Hall. The clothes, estimated to be valued at $200, were stolen.
Theft was reported on the at Nathan Newmark Civil Engineering Laboratory, 205 N. Mathews Ave., between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Wednesday. According to the report, a University laptop computer was stolen from an unsecured office. The laptop and its accessories, estimated to cost $1,710, were in a backpack.

Robbery was reported on the 100 block of North Gregory Street around 8:30 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, the victim was pushed by an unknown offender who displayed a weapon and demanded cash and the victim’s cell phone. The victim gave the items to the offender. The cell phone was later found on the 300 block of North Lincoln Avenue.
Urbana
Burglary was reported on the 1200 block of North Broadway Avenue around 5 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, an unknown suspect stole several items from a vehicle. The victim was not sure if the vehicle was locked at the time of the burglary. No forced entry was reported.
