Urbana

Theft was reported on the 1200 block of Vine Street around 6 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, the victim’s bicycle and a bicycle part were stolen by an unknown offender during school hours.

An arrest was made on the charges of burglary, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia at Walmart, 100 S. High Cross Road, around 2 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, three suspects stole two stereo components, one household object and one electronic object. Drug paraphernalia was found on one offender and traces of a controlled substance was found on another during arrest.

Domestic battery was reported on the 1800 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue around 3 a.m. Thursday. According to the report, the victim and offender live together and are in a dating relationship. The victim claimed the offender had battered her during an argument.
