Theft was reported on the 300 block of East Clark Street, around 12 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, the victim had her collectible bicycle stolen. 

Theft was reported at Hertz, 707 N. Mattis Ave., around 1 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, the offender rented a car using a fraudulent check. The offender then never returned the car.

An arrest was made on the charges of theft was at Illinois Terminal, 45 E. University Ave., around 5 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, the victim had her purse stolen after she had left it on a bench.

Urbana

An arrest was made on the charges of theft at Walmart, 100 S. High Cross Road, around 11 a.m. Wednesday. According to the report, the suspect placed items into a cart and scanned only some of the items at a checkout. The suspect passed all points of sale without paying for all of the items and was stopped by loss prevention.

Theft was reported on the 1100 block of Lanore Drive, around 4 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, the victim had a packaged delivered to her address stolen by an unknown offender.
