Although a consent decree was reached last month, as of Tuesday, Suburban Express is shutting down all operations.

The consent decree was reported to have been violated within a week of being issued, and Suburban Express was fined $100,000.

The court filing states the payment will still be made by May 15, “months ahead of schedule.”

The Suburban Express website, except for the lost-and-found form and cessation of business announcement, has also been taken down as of Tuesday, according to the court filing.

According to the filing, over the next four to eight weeks, accounting will wind down and Allerton Charter Coach, Inc. and Suburban Express, Inc. will be dissolved by an estimated July 31.
