Battery was reported on the 400 block of Edgebrook Drive around 5 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, two offenders were fighting in the street at an apartment complex.

Identity theft was reported on the 2000 block of Moreland Boulevard around 5 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, an unknown offender used the victim’s identification information to open a Verizon account.

Credit card fraud was reported on the 2800 block of Natalie Drive around noon Tuesday. According to the report, the offender bought concert tickets, worth $767.04, with the victim’s debit card.

University

Theft was reported at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts parking garage, 500 S. Goodwin Ave., between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, two hubcaps, worth an estimated $260, were stolen from the victim’s vehicle.  

An arrest was made on the charges of assault and disorderly conduct on the 2000 block of West Springfield Avenue around 9 a.m Wednesday. According to the report, the suspect was identified as the offender who exhibited threatening behavior Monday to a Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District bus driver.

Urbana

Domestic dispute and criminal damage to property were reported on the 2000 block of Vawter Street around noon Wednesday. According to the report, the victim, the offender’s mother, and offender got into a verbal argument. The offender damaged the apartment door of the residence they both reside in.

Theft was reported on the 500 block of Griggs Street around 2 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, the victim initially met the offender at a bar. When they met up after hours at the victim’s apartment, the offender stole the victim’s cell phone.
